In Provence, dry stones huts named « bories » served as a shelter for shepherds.

In our pines forest, over a hectare of good vibes in Vaucluse, we would love to invent its Green version, among the pines and surrounded by olive trees. 

Do not expect boring "bories"! Distributed over the slopes of the forest, these tiny homes will be visually integrated, made essentially with branches, but will not concede anything to comfort and details.

What to do when the farm in the forest has already absorbed all the authorized square meters in traditional materials? Join magic and imagination, sculpt the nature. We would love to welcome happy adventurers in « branch bories ». Very different from the tree houses seen everywhere now, that look indeed more and more as traditional homes, our bories would be inspired by the garden igloos braided with willow branches, with a sealing hidden between two thick layers of branches.

The pines forest prolongs the space of our home. It is peaceful but not wild. Some birds, a squirrel, an old conversation between the cypresses and the wind, not more.

"Shinrin-yoku" means taking in the forest atmosphere or "forest bathing". Spending time around trees reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and improves mood. Because stress inhibits the immune system, the stress-reduction benefits of forests are further magnified.

At « The Twig », the tiny size, the discretion of the habitat, the neat decoration of each « Borie » will make them the ideal landmark for mad lovers.

Dry toilets in an old commode chair, solar shower, rainwater harvester, solar tassel chandelier, rot-proof wooden terraces.

 As for a Glamping experience, we won't compromise on comfort, a neat and creative decoration. A luxury mattress, rest areas, a borie for massages, all this with the same stars that watched Van Gogh. Several trades will be involved in the realization of the project.

> ENCHANTMENT

The magic of childhood is intact, elves are nor far. Build a shelter with branches does not mean we don’t add to it refinement. Undergrowth ivy would grow on a peacock chair,  giants bird nests would be your hammock. The antique entrance door would be surrounded by invisible walls and nature taking her ease.
